solenoid motor construction (V-twin)

A video showing the construction of an electric V-twin motor using solenoids as the basis for power, 12 volt solenoids bought on ebay are the basis and the pushrod setup for switching is purely for a mechanical look and not the easiest way to do it but much nicer to look at and great fun to build. The brake is required as a no load situation will tend to run at high speed even at low volts , much easier to control speed this way. Power produced is low and useful for demonstration only.
