Complete Disconnection

“God, grant me complete disconnection in coming towards you.” (Shabaniah Supplication) “Complete disconnection” means that I disconnect from others. How does this happen? “God, grant me complete disconnection in coming towards you.” How will this happen? With tragedies? Will complete disconnection come about with tragedies?

“Disconnection” can happen with tragedies, but it won’t be “complete disconnection.” An example of a tragedy is a ship in a stormy sea. Disconnection. “They sincerely pray to God with pure faith.” (Qur’an 29:65) When the ship reaches the beach, they become polytheists. So disconnection happens, but this is not complete disconnection.

Complete disconnection, or a good disconnection. How does that happen? “God, grant me complete disconnection in coming towards you.” When God is kind to a person, he doesn’t want anything else. He is kind to us, but we don’t pay attention and feel the warmth of His Kindness. A person doesn’t want anything else. This is “complete disconnection.”

Have you seen some people say, “Why did God create us to put us through this much trouble for us to achieve prosperity in the end?” Then, I think God shakes His head like this and says, “What have they told people about Me?” It is not in a person’s nature to toil. God has created us like this. God says, “I have created you correctly. It’s not in your nature to toil? I don’t want to put you to trouble either. So, I am dealing with you according to your nature too.” “So God, what do You want from us?” “I don’t want anything. You may go. Who told you to come?”

It is for us to see God’s Kindness, burn from it, and seek it, so that He will say, “That is enough. You are not able to answer all of My Kindness.” Then, I say, “Just a little. Tell me what to do.” “Pray.” “Ok, ok. What shall I do after that?” “Get up and go work.” “Would you like that? Will I be able to answer Your Kindness a little bit?”

Then, God keeps arousing his passion. How? With another kindness. This person becomes drowned in kindness. God says, “He is My servant. I have created him to be kind to him!”

Complete disconnection only happens in one situation. Only in one situation. That is when a person enjoys God’s Kindness deeply, and gains warmth from it saying, “God, You are kind. And, that is enough. It is enough that You are kind, You exist and You are watching. I don’t want anything else.” Friends, a person won’t want anything else!
