This is our initial impressions and hands-on review of the Samsung Galaxy A51. We have talked about the pros, cons, and our initial review of the device after using it for a few hours.

Before getting started, let’s review the expected prices of Galaxy A51 in different countries:

🔹Samsung Galaxy A51 Price in Nepal: NRS 41,990

🔹Samsung Galaxy A51 Price in India: INR 22,999

🔹Samsung Galaxy A51 Price in Bangladesh: TAK 31,499

🔹Samsung Galaxy A51 Price in Pakistan: PKR 56,999

The Galaxy A51 is the successor of the Galaxy A50 and A50s. It comes with a punch-hole display located at the center top, reminiscent of the Note 10. Like its predecessor, you get a FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with punchy colors, excellent contrast, and good brightness.

The Galaxy A51 also features a quad-camera setup at the back. The quad-camera setup comprises of 48MP wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide angle, 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro-lens. In our initial hands-on time, we found the camera of the Galaxy A51 to be very impressive. The 12MP ultra-wide angle shots are the best in the midrange segment. Similarly, portraits had good background blur, depth, and colors. The 5MP macro lens also does a surprisingly good job to capture close subjects. On the notch sits a 32MP selfie snapper. Video wise, the Galaxy A51 can record 4K and 1080P videos in 30fps only, as the phone lacks 60fps option.

The Galaxy A51 is available in 3 colors: blue, pink, and white. The sample unit we have are blue and white colors, and both of them are stunning. The design is drastically improved as compared to the Galaxy A50 and A50s. Its thin, light, and very comfortable to use too. It runs on the latest Android 10 with One UI V2.0.

The Galaxy A51 is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It will take roughly around 2 hours to charge the phone from 0 to 100%. Talking about the performance, it boasts 10nm based Exynos 9611 chipset paired with 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. For the price, it's definitely not the best chipset out there. You can get better performing phones like the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme X2. So, performance-wise, the Galaxy A51 is just about average.
