Running a car alternator as a bldc electric motor with some diy stuff
This is the alternator motor I have been working on. It has seen many versions, and I consider this to be a successful prototype. It is running off of 10 volts from two power supplies, switched with hall effect sensors through 555 timer chips into irf2807 hexfets. The Arduino Uno takes rpm measurement.
