Test and teardown of another 75 cent Chinese LED light bulb from Ebay. This time it is a corn type called 9W, but the actual power is 3.3W. Again, thanks to the Ebay trick, I've got this one for only 75 cents. The listings usually have heaps of options. One option or combination of options is super cheap to get the listing to the top of the search results when sorted the cheapest first. It this case, the super cheap combination was this 9W LED in warm white option, 220V option and B22 socket option. All the other combinations were $2.50. This lightbulb with 3.3W actual power is not so bad; it is so far my most powerful 75 cent LED :). But I don't like the fact that it doesn't have any fuse or fusible resistor (fire hazard). The filter capacitor is only 2.2uF, so it flickers a lot. It has a capacitor dropper with 680n 400V capacitor. There are 30 LED packages in series. Each package has 3 LEDs in parallel.
