1997 NiCd Cordless Screwdriver Teardown (It still works after 20 years!)
Taking a look inside one of my power tools - a NiCd (NiCad) cordless screwdriver from 1997. It still works well after 20 years. The schematic is surprisingly simple. It's amazing how simple those NiCd tools are compared to the Li-Ion ones and how long they can last.
