High voltage overload on electric motor + Variac overload

WARNING - Do not try this at home . Experience is needed . This shows what happens when an Electric AC series wound motor gets overloaded . The Variac usally can take this load but today it wanted to put on a smoke show , arr well rewind time with a learning lesson to go with it .
