Accident with Giant Neodymium Magnets
In this video I talk about my accident with giant neodymium magnets. Miraculously, no fingers were lost. Just 2 neodymium magnets were destroyed. The most fascinating thing about this was, that the magnets were glowing. After the collision, the magnets were covered with yellowish glowing spots that slowly faded out. I'm not sure about the explanation, but the impact was probably so strong that it set the small fragments of the magnets on fire.
The moral is, that neodymium magnets really are dangerous, they are not a toy.
