This is part of my presentation on recent development in the era of combining 3D printing and medical imaging technologies. In this presentation, I will go through my recent picture selected as the runner-up for the "Images of Research Competition 2018" at the University of Saskatchewan. This picture, entitled "Let's Create an Artificial Organ with Cells!", is available at https://research.usask.ca/our-impact/research-in-images.php
Then, I will talk about the fabrication of 3D models used for preoperative surgical planning. This is part of a successful case study that I did previously in collaboration with a medical university. It has been published at the RRR journal and available at http://journals.sbmu.ac.ir/tripleR/article/viewFile/12543/10652
Finally, I will touch the implementation of both 3D scanning and 3D printing to create customized masks for cancer therapy. This part has been presented at Med.Kack(+) 2017 and available at https://www.researchgate.net/publication/320021035_3D_Printing_and_Patient-focused_Solutions
