EV Conversion Guide Part 12 -------- Electric Motor & Adapter Plate-- Motor to Trans for Mounting

Now we connect the motor to the transmission. The adapter plate is bolted to the motor, coupler is attached to motor spline with spline key inserted. Be sure to securely clamp the adapter plate to the transmission housing and that everything is a proper and snug fit. Using "C" Clamps or Vice Clamps works well.

Use Spray Paint in quick bursts through the transmission holes to mark on the adapter plate where you should drill.
