Butter Chicken is a famous dish Prepared in most of the restaurants.It is made using butter,Cashews,tomatoes and few other ingredients.Follow my step by step process for a tasty Butter Chicken Masala recipe.
LET'S BEGIN

1.MARINATION
Chicken - 1 Kilo
To it add
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
MIX WELL
MARINATE FOR 30 MINUTES
2.ROASTING OF CHICKEN
In a pan add oil - 2 tablespoon
To it add marinated chicken pieces and roast, it leaves a lot of water, let chicken cook till 70% done
in this water and the dry off the water and again roast chicken till it gets a goodroasted colour.
3.GRAVY MASALA

In the same oil where chicken was roasted add
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cloves - 3
Cardamon - 2
Fry them.
Then add onions diced - 3 medium sized,fry them till smooth
Add ginger garlic paste - tablespoon
Cashewnuts - 15
Green chillies - 3
Tomatoes diced - 4
Dried fenugreek leaves - 1 tablespoon
Cook them till tomatoes are tender
Then add Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
LET IT COOL
NOW GRIND IT
KEEP ASIDE THIS GROUND MASALA
4.COOKING PROCESS
In a pan melt butter - 50 grams
To this add the ground masalaand sauteit, add some water
Then add salt - as per taste
Then add sugar - 3/4 teaspoon
Add Tomato ketchup - 2 tablespoon
Fresh cream - 4 tablespoon
Now add the roasted chicken pieces and mix well, cook it for 2 minutes under high flame, add few
coriander leaves.
Lower the flame and let chicken cook till tender under low flame.
AFTER 10 MINUTES OPEN THE LID, TASTY BUTTER CHICKEN IS READY
5.Serve hot with Tandoori roti, parota or bread.
