List of all batteries tested so far:

Test (and also an autopsy) of cheap Ebay Li-Ion batteries. Those are standard 18650 size with 3.7V nominal voltage. They turned out to be fake. They claim 3000 and 5800 mAh, but the real capacity is only 552 and 554 mAh (!!!). They also say they have a protection circuitry, but they actually have none. In reality, the 18650 size Li-Ion batteries never have more than 3400 mAh, Usually they are 1800 - 3400 mAh. If the capacity seems to high to be real, it usually isn't. Anything over 3500mAh is surely fake. Also if it is too cheap to be real, it usually isn't. The weight of the battery can also be a clue. The real ones weigh about 45g, the fake ones about 24g. Warning: Never disassemble any battery. It is very dangerous. Batteries contain dangerous chemicals and they may combust.
UPDATE:
5800mAh battery: Requested refund, seller ignores me.
3000mAh battery: Seller offered 50% refund or a full refund if I ship it back!
