This is my latest build, which is a rotary tool powered by my CNC machined air/steam turbine. Last year i made a similar build, a turbine powered drill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfQJPfyC4wM. This idea came to me when my previous flex shaft of my rotary tool had come to it's end after a lot of use. I dissasembled the hole thing and took apart the spindle which had it's ball bearings completely destroyed. After buying a pair of bearings, i made the housing out of copper pipe which had the exact internal diameter to fit the bearings. After that it was a matter of few hours to find and fit the other components. The only thing that still needs to be fixed is to make the coupler that connects the turbine's wheel to the spindle, run absolutely true and also correct the square hole in the spindle's shaft, beacause it's runing eccentrically causing a lot of vibrations. And something last, this is my first video of me talking;)
