1963 Cold War Military Geiger Counter Teardown (RBGT-62)
In this video I decided to make a teardown of a cold war military Geiger counter RBGT-62 made in Czechoslovakia in 1963. It is a classic geiger counter with an analog scale and sound indication (typical clicking noise). It is in a very sturdy metal housing and it is made mostly of Czechoslovak Tesla parts. The geiger tube is a soviet STS-5. It has 3 ranges: 1, 10 and 100 mrem/h. It runs on 2x D batteries. This one doesn't work, but I will show a working piece in another video.
