You can spend 15 minutes of your time and build a simple electric motor. This will be very happy for you and for your kids. This will be an incentive for your children to be creative and knowledge of the laws of physics, electrical engineering and magnetism.

You need:

  • A few meters enameled wire 0.4-0.6 mm
  • 1.2-1.5 volt battery
  • magnet
  • 2 paper clips
  • A piece of board
