Chuck modifies an existing Thingiverse design to create a resistor checker stand. The stand has metal inserts that contact the resistor and then route to a connector. The connectors are plugged into an Ohm Meter so the setup makes a simple to use resistor reader.
This can be a very handy print for someone just getting started with electronics or for someone who has a hard time reading the color codes on the resistor. The design was modified in Tinkercad and then printed on the FlashForge Dreamer. The final design was printed in ABS but any plastic will work. The contacts are made from flattened electrical wire.
