Iran slams US "complicity" in Saudi aggression

Iran’s foreign minister has slammed the United States for its involvement in the Saudi war on Yemen.

Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a tweet that the US complicity in the world's biggest humanitarian disaster is unfathomable. Zarif’s tweet came after U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis admitted Washington has been engaged in battlefield management in Yemen and mid-air refueling of Saudi warplanes during operations against Yemeni targets. The Pentagon chief’s comments contradict long-standing claims of a very limited, non-combat engagement in the Saudi war on Yemen. Over 14 thousand 400 Yemenis have been killed in the Saudi aggression since March 20-15 when the war began.
