Ingredients

1 lb Boneless Chicken - I used thigh meat as it stays moist, you can use breast as well.

1 Medium Onion

1-2 Green Chilies - Depending on how spicy you prefer

3 Tbsp Tomato Paste

2 Tsp Red chili powder - For a mild spice level. To make the curry more spicy use 3 Tsp

1.5 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Coriander Powder

1/2 Tsp Garam Masala

1 Tsp Cumin seeds

3 Cups water

1/4 Cup

1/4 Cup Cream - Heavy cream or whipping cream

1/2 Tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves - this adds the restaurant style flavor - skip this ingredient if you are unable to find it

2 oz Butter - Butter is a crucial ingredient in this recipe, use less for a healthier option but do not skip!


To skip the blending step use very finely chopped onions and green chilies


Always taste to adjust seasoning. Add extra salt and taste first before adding more spices. You can also use tomato ketchup to sweeten the curry...
