Ingredients: ( for #1 – raisin oatmeal )


1/4 cup – oats


1 tbsp – raisin


1 tsp – pistachio ( powdered ) or almond


1 cup – milk


1/2 tsp – honey ( or 1/2 tsp raw sugar) RECIPE #2 - Dosa & tomato chutney recipe


Ingredients: ( for tomato chutney)


1 tbsp – oil


1/4 tsp – mustard seeds


pinch – cumin seeds


2 – dried red chilli ( whole )


1 – garlic ( chopped or crushed)


pinch – asafoetida ( hing )


1 sprig – curry leaves


1 – onion (chopped)


5 – tomatoes


1/4 tsp – turmeric powder


1/4 tsp – chilli powder


salt to taste

Ingredients: ( for #4 – rava(sooji) upma )


1 tbsp – ghee


1/2 cup – rava ( roasted rava / sooji / semolina )


1 cup – water


salt to taste


2 – tomato ( chopped)


1/2 tsp – ginger garlic paste


pinch – asafoetida (hing)


1 green chilli


1 sprig curryleaves


1/4 tsp – mustard seeds


Spices:


1/4 tsp – turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp – chilli powder,


1/2 tsp – coriander powder, 1/4 tsp – cumin powder,


1/4 tsp – pepper powder RECIPE #5 - Egg ( boiled & omlet )


( Serve 1 egg for 2+ toddlers & kids ) RECIPE #6 - Spinach(palak) paratha


Ingredients: ( for #6 – spinach paratha )


1 cup – wheat flour ( atta )


1 cup – spinach ( finely chopped )


1 tbsp – ghee


1 garlic – crushed ( small garlic or a small piece)


1/4 tsp – salt


water (as needed to make a soft dough )

Ingredients: ( for rava idli)


1 cup – semolina (idli rava)


1 tbsp – ghee


1 cup – yogurt (thick)


1/4 tsp – mustard seeds


1 tsp – urad dal


1 tsp – chana dal


1/2 tsp – ginger (crushed)


1 tbsp – coriander leaves


1 tbsp – coconut


1/4 cup – water


1/4 cup – cashews (chopped)


1/4 tsp – salt


Ingredients: ( for coconut chutney)


1 cup – coconut


1/4 tsp – ginger


1/4 tsp – cumin seeds


1 tbsp – coriander leaves


5 – shallots (small onion) or 1 tbsp onion


1 cup – water


tiny piece – tamarind ( or 1/2 tsp lemon juice)


salt to taste


For tadka/garnish:


2 tsp – oil


1/4 tsp – mustard seeds,


some curry leaves


1 dried red chilli RECIPE #9 - Bread butter jam

1 or 2 – bread slices ( multigrain/ wholemeal/ wheat )


1 tsp – butter


1 tsp – jam RECIPE #10 - Poha (aval) porridge


Ingredients: ( for #10 – Poha (aval) porridge )


1/4 cup – poha ( I used ‘ brown aval / poha ‘ )


1 cup – milk


1 tsp – crushed cashew ( or almonds)


1/2 tsp – raw sugar ( or jaggery )
